Health coaching is about empowering YOU to adopt sustainable, health-promoting behaviors that honor your unique strengths, values, and circumstances. At Hannah Clare Health Coaching, I use research-backed behavior change strategies to help you evaluate your current habits, set realistic goals, and develop a personalized action plan.

Throughout your journey, I provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment to keep you accountable and motivated. Together, we’ll work to overcome obstacles and celebrate your successes. My approach prioritizes behavior change that enhances your mental, physical, and emotional well-being—without focusing on weight or body reshaping. This is key to building a positive relationship with your health habits and a trusting relationship with your body.

I hold a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia Okanagan and am a Registered Kinesiologist with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK #2019425). Additionally, I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor, Size Inclusive Fitness Specialist, and Yoga Teacher. My commitment to ongoing professional development includes reviewing relevant literature, attending workshops, participating in mentorship, and dedicating time to personal growth and awareness. Key areas of focus in my professional development include UBC Coaching and Mentoring, Pain Foundations for Allied Health Providers, Behavior Change Techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Self-Compassion, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Boundary Setting, Health at Every Size, Nutrition, and Social Determinants of Health.

My approach blends science-backed research with body attunement and social justice. I believe well-being is guided by your inner compass, not fleeting wellness trends. My mission is to empower you to reconnect with your body, filter out the noise of wellness culture, and adopt sustainable health-promoting habits that are rooted in self-care, not self-control.

I live in Kamloops, BC, where I enjoy reading, practicing yoga, eating ice cream and noodles (yes, I have a ramen tattoo), mountain biking, and rewatching The Office for the 10th time.
